The death occurred peacefully with her family by her side at the Andrews of Park West on Monday, January 29, 2024, of Olga Elizabeth Newman (nee Scott). Beloved wife of the late Alton Newman, loving mother of Faye Coffin, Layton (Wanda), Marilyn (Eric Delaney), Floyd (Gloria), Gloria (Glenn) and Boyd (Penny), grandmother of Scott Younker, Tina Kalmar, Shane Newman, Michelle Hoffard, Jennifer Nguyen (Jason), Lindsay Taylor (Aaron), Jenelle Newman (Andy), Colin Newman (Krystal), Nicole Yard, Sarah Newman, Holly Gorveatt (Glen), Alana Newman (Kyle) and great-grandmother of 22. Also survived by son-in-law, Grant Gaudet; siblings, Florence Praught, Winston and Blair Murray (Anne MacNeill); sister-in-law, Norma Murray; brother-in-law, Hollis Newman, and numerous nieces and nephews. Predeceased by parents, Brent Scott and Annie (Chowen); stepfather, Harold Murra;, siblings, Wendell Scott, Kaye (Roland) Ford, Allie Murray; sister-in-law, Lona Murray; daughter, Fairlie Gaudet; son-in-law, Carl Coffin and special feline companion Tigger.
