Peter passed away peacefully at home in Kelowna, BC on February 3, 2024, with family by his side, at the age of 76 years. Formally of Charlottetown, PE. Peter was born and raised in Souris, PE. Loving husband and best friend of 60 years to Shelley (nee Peters) Grant; father to Derreck (Korri) Grant and Dana (Scott) MacBeth; proud “Papa” to Linkin, Hattie, Henry, and the late Rosie. Predeceased by his parents, Alice (Roger) Auger and Billy (Betty) Grant. Brother of Ann (Barry) Enman, Ron (Butch), Cheverie (Fran), and the late Margie (Doug) Fraser. Friend to everyone that met him. "Big Pete" was known and loved by all. Before leaving PEI to be closer to family out West, many fond memories were made on PEI Golf courses. There will be no public viewing, a Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
