Died suddenly at his home on Monday February 5t, 2024, at the age of 61. He was born in Alberton ,the son of William (Bill) Gaudet, and survived by his mother Noreen (Doucette) Gaudet. Lovingly remembered by his wife Jane (McRae) Gaudet and his siblings Diane, Gerald, Floyd, Pauline(Stephen), James, Dolores(David), and Maurice(Crissy). Also remembered by his stepchildren, Kelly(Randall), and Cody(Ashley),and grandchildren, Reese, Aubree, Blakely, Cole, Clay, and Thomas, also by his life long friends, Nieces, Nephews and Cousins. Robert was gifted with creative talents; he enjoyed leather work, playing guitar and wood-working. He appreciated the outdoors and he loved to go fishing.Robert had a deep connection with animals and he spent many hours watching and feeding the birds and squirrels. Robert was known by many from his years working at Mill River Provincial Park. He cherished visits with friends and family, especially from his brothers who in turn enjoyed his sense of humour and his positive outlook on life. He was well loved and will be missed by all who had the pleasure to cross his path. In lieu of flowers , donations in Roberts name can be made to the PEI Humane Society. Resting at the West Prince Funeral home,522 Thompson Rd. Visitation will be Friday February 23rd from 7:00-9:00pm. Funeral to take place Saturday February 24th at 10:30am, at St. Simon & St. Jude Church Tignish. Officiant , Rev John Molina.
