It is with heavy hearts that the family of Sterling Ross Peterson, loving husband of Kim Peterson and cherished father of Courtney and Brodie (Kayla) Peterson, announces his passing which occurred on Monday, February 19, 2024. Sterling was born in Charlottetown and was the son of the late Sammy and Flora Peterson. He is survived by his sister; Kim (Alan) Watts and brother; Kirk Peterson as well as several beloved nieces and nephews. Sterling made many lasting friendships during his years at Canada Revenue Agency. He loved gardening and took pride in his yard. He also enjoyed the summer sunshine and drinking a cold Alpine with friends and family. Sterling’s family would like to thank the many friends, family and neighbors who visited, called, brought food, helped with outside chores and expressed their compassion and caring to us. A special thank you to Rev. Amanda Henderson-Bolton for her visits and spiritual guidance. Resting at Hennessey Cutcliffe Charlottetown Funeral Home. Funeral service will take place on Saturday, February 24th, from the Kirk of St. James Presbyterian Church, Charlottetown at 1 p.m. No visitation by personal request.
