The death occurred at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital on Monday, February 19, 2024 of Vernon Lea Farrar of Cornwall, age 76 years. Beloved husband of Heather, father of Vanessa (Craig) Phillips. Brother of James (Janet), Linda (Glen) Collicutt, Doug (Christine), Valerie, and John (Leona), and brother-in-law of Jennie, Donald Lamont, Byron MacNevin, and Anna. Survived by aunt Marion Toole and numerous nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his parents Arthur and Annie (Bryenton) Farrar, son Jason, siblings Edwin, Jean, Florence, Glenda, Gordon, and Scotty. The family extends their gratitude to Dr. O’Neill, Dr. Wohlgemut, nurses of Unit 8 and the staff of the Queen Elizabeth Hospital. Resting at MacLean Funeral Home Swan Chapel from where the service will be held on Friday at 1:30 p.m. Interment later in Springton Cemetery.
