The death occurred at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital, Charlottetown, on Tuesday, February 6, 2024, of Wally Gallant, beloved husband of Pat Gallant (nee Gallant) of North Rustico, aged 86. Wally was the loving father of Heather Roderick (John) and Todd Gallant; grandfather of Amanda, Stephen, Andrew, Timothy, Demi and Reid; and brother of Clara Gallant. Wally was predeceased by his parents, Jeremiah and Clara (Gallant) Gallant; son, Dale Gallant; and sisters and brothers, Hazel, Gwelda, Francis, Alvin, Vera, Grace and Jean. Resting at Central Queen’s Funeral Home, New Glasgow. There will be no visitation or funeral by personal request. A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date. Interment later in Stella Maris Cemetery, North Rustico. If so desired, memorial donations to a charity of your choice would be appreciated.
