It is with much love and heavy hearts we announce the passing of Ann Marie Pratt (nee McAleer) surrounded by family in the comforts of her home on Thursday, March 21, 2024, at the age of 68. Ann was the beloved wife of Jim Pratt and loving mother of Connor Pratt (Chantale). She is survived by her sisters and brother, Mary Dunn, Florence Larkin (Eugene), James McAleer (Carolyn); brother-in-law Bill Pratt (Annette); and nieces and nephews. Ann was predeceased by her parents Gavin and Penzie McAleer; her brother Tom McAleer (Leona); her brother-in-law Willie Dunn; and her parents-in-law Vic and Jean (Smith) Pratt. Ann was a devoted nurse, dedicating her career caring for people. She also had a deep love for art, music, and nature: Ann spent a lot of her time painting, enjoying live music with family and friends, and being outdoors with her dog, Bella; and taking care of her flower and vegetable garden. Resting at Central Queen’s Funeral Home. The funeral will be held at the St. Anne’s Roman Catholic Church, Hope River, on Wednesday, March 27, at 10:30 a.m., with visitation for family members occurring the evening prior.
