The death occurred peacefully at the Provincial Palliative Care Centre on Wednesday, February 28, 2024, of Keir Waldo Jay of Charlottetown, formerly of Fanningbrook, age 84 years. Loving husband of Joyce, father of Garth (Darlene) and Brenda (Rick) Horsman, Papa of Kyle, Kurtis (Meagan), Brent (Ginelle) and Laura (Paul), great papa of Damian, Hailee, Alexander and Aiden. Survived by brother Elwood (Sally) Jay, sister Iva Jay, sister-in-law Betty Jay and nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his parents Wendell and Bertha (MacDonald) Jay, brother Guy (Verna) Jay and brother-in-law Gordon Jay. The family extends their sincere thanks to the staff of the Provincial Palliative Care Centre and the Queen Elizabeth Hospital. Resting at MacLean Funeral Home Swan Chapel.
