Passed peacefully at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital on Friday, March 22, 2024 of Mary Joyce Wielechowicz of Charlottetown, age 89. Mary was born in Montreal and worked as a teacher and missionary abroad. She retired in PEI after falling in love with the island during her first visit here and she was blessed to enjoy nineteen of the island life. Mary’s faith guided her to celebrate her life to the fullest every day, all the while empowering those around her to do the same. She continues to do so. We will miss you, Mary. Resting at Belvedere Funeral Home. A funeral mass will be celebrated on Monday, March 25th at 2 p.m. at St. Pius X Roman Catholic Parish.
