The death occurred peacefully at Beach Grove Home on Wednesday, February 28, 2024, of Velma Ruth Taylor of Charlottetown, age 88 years. Loving wife of the late Ian Taylor; mother of Shelley (Stephen) Nagy, Karen (Aaron) Blacquiere, and Nancy (Kevin) Connolly; Grammie of Evie, Ian (Noelle), Travis (Krystal), Carter and Amber (Dylan); and proud great-grammie to Bennett and Wyatt. Survived by siblings, Eric (Freda) MacKinnon, Shirley Sherren (Chester) and Keith MacKinnon; sisters-in-law, Grace MacKinnon, Sylvia (Donald) Matheson, Sandra (Mark) Richardson; and brother-in-law, Allison MacLean; and numerous nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her parents, Thomas and Olive MacKinnon; siblings, Reg Frizzell, Elmer and Leith MacKinnon; parents-in-law, Joseph and Rosella Taylor; siblings-in-law, Donne Taylor (Gloria and Eileen), Daphne MacLean; and granddaughter, Constance Nagy.
