The death occurred peacefully at her late residence with her daughter by her side, on Monday, April 15, 2024 of Doris Katherine MacDonald (nee MacEwen) of Charlottetown, formerly of Greenwich, age 97 years. Wife of the late Victor “Vic” MacDonald. Beloved mother of Jennifer MacDonald-Martin (Tony Martin), loving nanny of Travis (Kayla Duffy-Martin), Brett and Tyler and great-nan of Charlotte, Noah and Jacob. Survived by sister of Elaine MacEwen Tierney, nephews Bruce and Wes (Lin) MacEwen. Predeceased by her parents George and Sarah “Sadie” (MacLean) MacEwen, brother Preston (Gladys), siblings-in-law Eric Tierney, Cyrene (Kay), Roland (Marjorie), Oswald, Helen (Ray) Gallagher and Mary Lou MacDonald, and nephew Roger. Resting at MacLean Funeral Home Funeral Home Swan Chapel from where the service will be held on Friday at 11:00 a.m. Interment in the Roman Catholic Cemetery.
