At the Kings County Memorial Hospital, Montague, on Tuesday, April 16, 2024, Pauline Underhay (Allen) passed away peacefully with her loving family by her side. Born to the late George and Rebecca (Richards) Allen in Roxbury, MA on August 28, 1933, she was aged 90 years. Pauline is predeceased by her loving husband Leslie and will be forever loved by their children Susan (Zeke Eaton), Jean (Gerry Keefe), John (Patricia Doucette), Bill (Lisa), Connie (Ernie Cheverie), and Rosalie. She will be remembered as a caring grandmother to Jennifer Morningstar, Holly (Keefe) Elliott, Adam Keefe, Judith Keefe, Sara Underhay, Mitchell Underhay, Nicholas Cheverie, Dominic Underhay, Josephine Underhay, Isaac Underhay, William Underhay, and granddaughter-in-law Karri Shea to whom she was known as Mom/Grammie-mum/Granny Polly/Grammie/Nana. She is also survived by 9 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great grandchild. She was the last surviving member of her family of 7 who all passed away in the United States. Predeceased by infant daughter Margaret Underhay, grandson Josh Underhay, great-granddaughter Faith Morningstar, and great-grandson Oliver Underhay. Pauline loved to bake, work in her garden, and most of all to be surrounded with family. A celebration of Pauline’s life will take place at Fortune Community Centre at 2:00pm on Saturday, April 27.
