Peacefully with family by his side at Moncton City Hospital, Moncton, NB the passing of Scott Ashley Blackett, age 48, of Little Pond, loving husband of 21 years to Angela (DesRoches) Blackett, occurred on Saturday, April 27, 2024. Born in Charlottetown, PE, March 25, 1976, son of Rhoda (Taylor) Blackett and the late John Blackett. Survived by children, Brandon, Dylan (Harlie) and Tristan; siblings, Paul (Linda), Wanda (Denton) Ching and Heidi (Troy) Holland; grandmother, Jean Taylor; nephews, Kegan, Carson, Cameron; niece, Kara; mother-in-law, Isabel Daley; father-in-law, Paul (Judy) DesRoches; aunt, Colleen Cole, uncles, Clayton Blackett, Edgar Blackett; and numerous cousins. Predeceased by infant son, William, grandparents, Winnie and Edith Blackett, and grandfather, William Taylor. No visiting by personal request. Funeral Service to take place on Wednesday, May 1st at 3 p.m., in the Funeral Home Chapel. Interment to take place in St. Mary’s Catholic Cemetery, Montague.
