It is with heavy hearts the family of Anna “Fay” Oatway, loving wife of Merrill Oatway, announces her passing which occurred on Tuesday, May 7, 2024 at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital. Born in Summerside, PE on January 26, 1944, she was the daughter of the late Reginald and Viola (Mosher) Thomas. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her sister, Gail Terry (Pat), Shirley Thomson (Bert) and Arthur Thomas (Adele). Besides her husband, Merrill of 29 years, she is survived by her children, Wanda Green (Ron), Bonnie MacDonald (Warren) and Ken Darby; stepchildren, Naomi Stewart (Frank) and Dawne Stewart; sister, Cheryl Judson (Donnie); grandchildren; great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. Resting at Belvedere Funeral Home, with visitation on Sunday, May 12 from 1-4 p.m. Her funeral service will be held at Belvedere Funeral Home Chapel on Monday, May 13 at 10 a.m. Interment will follow in Floral Hills Cemetery.
