Bev is survived by her loving husband of 39 years Michael Cass; her children, Terry Trainor, and Tasha (Brandon) Morgan; their father, Darrell (Elsie) Trainor; as well as stepdaughters, Sheri (Randy) Warren, Bonnie (Kenny) Cameron; and her grandchildren, Ethan and Tayler Warren, and Shaina Lyn Thompson. She is also survived by her sister, Dianne Irving;  brother, Elmer MacCaull; sister in law, Patsy (Leigh) Adams;  brothers-in-law, David (Darlene) Cass, Chris (Patsi) Cass, and David Linkletter; as well as many nieces, nephews, and in-laws. Besides her parents Fred and Thelma Matthews, Bev was also predeceased by her sister Nancy Linkletter. Bev was a dedicated wife, mother, and friend to many. She had spent 32 years working at PEI Mutual Fire Insurance before she retired, where she had made many lifelong friends that she held dear and felt like family. In her retirement years, Bev worked summers at the Lucy Maud Montgomery birthplace, and spent much of her time camping at Twin Shores in the summer with Mike. Bev also enjoyed traveling with her husband. She traveled the states with their camper, as well as out west, and had been on two cruises to the Caribbean.  Bev enjoyed spending time with her family at home, taking island country drives, working on little projects around the house, and loved to spoil her, loyal dogs and cat. She was an incredibly caring, strong, and thoughtful woman. She wore her heart on her sleeve, had a quick wit and an indomitable spirit. She will be forever loved and missed.  A visitation and funeral service will be held at Davison Funeral Home on May 24, 2024 from 11 a.m. - 12:50 p.m. followed by the funeral service at 1 p.m. in the Funeral Home Chapel.
