Coleen "Elaine" NEILL (HARLEY)(FORD) — Oyster Bed Bridge

January 29, 1959-May 17, 2024. Elaine passed away peacefully with Kathie by her side, at the Provincial Palliative Care Centre, Charlottetown, on Friday, May 17, 2024. Elaine was a foster child that came to live with Borden and Tena Ford, in Harrington, at the age of three. Left to mourn is her loving husband, William, who has been her very best friend for 20 years. Also left to mourn are brothers and sisters-in-law, Myron Ford (Kaye, deceased), Wayne Ford (Faye), Gary Ford, deceased (Kathleen Hill), John Mellick (from Alberta), Mike Ford, deceased (Martha); and brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Sheldon Neill (Jean), Douglas Neill (Mary), Ralph Neill (Gladys), Roberta Ramsay, deceased (Carl), Sandra Neill, Margaret Platts (Hilton), Miriam Smallwood (David), Marlene Younker (Warner) and Raymond Neill (Donalda). Elaine was a very special Aunt to her nieces and nephews, Karen Ford Doyle, Kathie Ford, Jodie Ford, Wallie Ford and Penny Ford. She was like a sister to Wallie. She will be missed by her special friends, Betty, Wendy, Margaret, Melanie and Nurse Kelly; as well as her “very special” Aunt Veda and Aunt Edith. She was predeceased by her parents, Borden and Tena Ford. Resting at Central Queen’s Funeral Home, New Glasgow, for visitation on Saturday, May 25, 2024 from 2-4 p.m. Graveside service will follow, with interment in Fairview Baptist Cemetery, Oyster Bed Bridge.
