The death occurred peacefully at the Provincial Palliative Care Centre, with family by her side, of Dorothy Mae (Baxter) MacLeod of Charlottetown, age 90 years. Wife of the late Ian M. MacLeod, K.C. Beloved mother of Evelyn and Miriam (Robert Martin). Lovingly remembered by cousin, Sandra (Bernard) Bourque and nephews, Douglas (Linda Van Til), Gordon (Judy) and Garth Schurman, as well as her nieces and nephews in Ontario. Predeceased by her parents, Rev. Robert Henry and Vida (MacCallum) Baxter; brothers, Robert M. (Magdeleine) Baxter and J. Edward (Barbara); cousin, Jean (Paul) Carmichael; and sister-in-law, N. Jean (Robert) Schurman. Resting at MacLean Funeral Home Swan Chapel from where the service will be held on Wednesday at 10:30 a.m. Interment later in New Glasgow Cemetery.
