It is with great sadness that we announce the passing, at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital, of Dr. John “ Ernie” Williams, age 75 of Beach Point on May 26, 2024. He was the son of the late John and Annie (Giddings) Williams. Lovingly remembered by his wife Diana (Tupper) Williams. Father of Shirley (Ben Anderson), John "Jack" (Julie Munn), Joyce ( Erik Larson), Lilly (Ben Pinner) and Elliot (Katelin Stewart). Grandad to Benjamin, Evelyn, Victoria, Mia, Ethan, Kaylee, James, Johnny, Abraham, Elisha, Dorothy, and Rosamond. Sibling to Olive (Laird Mackinnon ), Kenneth ,deceased (Rena), Charles (Pansy), Miriam (Steve Holt), Lily (Alan Baker, deceased), Perry (Susan). Fondly remembered by many nieces, nephews and cousins. Resting at the Southern Kings and Queens Funeral Home, Murray River with visitation on Monday June 3rd from 4 to 7 p.m. Funeral service will be held from the Funeral Home Chapel on Tuesday, June 4th at 10 a.m. Private family burial to follow at the Beach Point Cemetery.
