It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Mona Mary (MacDonald) Woodworth-Bryanton. She passed peacefully in her 94th year, at Queen Elizabeth Hospital in Charlottetown, PEI. She was a very dear wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister, aunt, cousin and friend. Mona was born on February 24, 1931, in Loggieville, New Brunswick and she is predeceased by her parents, Clarence W. MacDonald and Effie MacLean, loving wife of Stacey Walden Bryanton and Vernon Woodworth. She was one of 14 siblings and is survived by her brother, Jim MacDonald; and sister, Ponsy Dickson. Predeceased by brothers, Len, Windsor, Clarence “Junior”, Bryon, Al, Ray and Mark; and sisters, Effie, Faye, Verna and Thelma. Mona always enjoyed visiting with her friends and extended family. Mona was a great cook and she was known for her fresh home made bread loved by all. She cared deeply for those who were close to her and gave the biggest, warmest hugs after a good visit. She played a mean game of "Rook". She will be greatly missed by all that knew her. Resting at the Davison Funeral Home Kensington. Visitation Monday May 27, from 1-3 p.m. followed by the funeral service in the Funeral Home Chapel at 3 p.m. and will be available to view online. Interment will take place at Kentville.
