Godfrey, Charles Ronald "Ronnie" The death occurred peacefully at Beach Grove Home on Friday, June 21, 2024, of Charles Ronald "Ronnie" Godfrey, formerly of North Wiltshire, aged 80 years. Lovingly remembered by his wife, Helen (Noonan) and their three children, Carolyn (Kent) MacKinnon, Andrew (Patty Jo) Godfrey and Mary-Ellen Godfrey. Proud Grampie of Norah MacKinnon and Hayden, Henry and Alex Godfrey. Survived by his brother, Ian (Patricia) Godfrey; sisters-in-law, Linda Godfrey, Rosemary (Norman) MacDonnel and Connie (Philip) Elderkin; as well as many nieces, nephews and extended family. Predeceased by his parents, Henry and Irene (MacEachern) Godfrey; his brother, Alan Godfrey and his in-laws, Daniel and Imelda (Kenny) Noonan. Raised on his family dairy farm, "Lilac Lodge Holsteins", in North Wiltshire, Ronnie was a proud 50 year veteran Holstein breeder who loved farming. Ronnie's family would like to extend heartfelt thanks to the staff at Beach Grove for their loving care of Ronnie over the past three and a half years. No visitation by personal request. The funeral will be held at Central Queens United Church in Hunter River on Wednesday, June 26th, 11 a.m. If so desired, donations may be made to the Recreation Department of Beach Grove Home or to North Wiltshire Cemetery.
