Gallant, John Gregory "Donald Mosey" It is with great sadness that we announce the peaceful passing of our dear brother John "Donald Mosey" Gallant, of Ontario, beloved husband of the late Donna Gallant (Kerr), on Sunday, June 16, 2024. He was the son of the late Donald and Isobel Gallant (Gallant). Survived by his mother-in-law, Marie Kerr; siblings Gus Gallant (Maisy), Dora Grettum (Kerry), Elaine Gallant (Norbert), Molly Fortin (Bob), Nora Gallant (David), Leo Gallant (Bernie), Louise Gallant (Kenny), and Esther Gallant; sister-in-law, Barb; special friend, Nancy; and dearly loved nieces, nephews and friends. Besides his parents, Donald and Isobel, and his wife, Donna, John "Donald Mosey" was predeceased by his siblings, Mary (Kevin), Nacy, Dianne (Hank), Janet (Justin), Dale and Gordon; and father-in-law, Ken Kerr. Resting at Central Queen's Funeral Home, New Glasgow, for visitation on Wednesday, June 19, 2024, from 5-7 p.m. The funeral will be held at Stella Maris Roman Catholic Church, North Rustico, on Thursday, June 20, 2024, at 10:30 a.m. Interment at a later date. The family would like to give a special thank you to Dr. Mark Foley, Palliative Care Dr. Mirielle LeCours, as well as all the incredible Palliative and Home Care Staff and Paramedics.
