MacLean, L. Elizabeth "Betty" Peacefully at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital on Thursday, June 20, 2024 of Betty MacLean (nee Reid) of Charlottetown, age 39, 49 years ago. Beloved wife of the late Jack MacLean and dear mother of Melissa Reid. Loving Sity to Jackson Donovan (Meagan) and Jayden Donovan (Hunter). Also survived by her sister-in-law, Judy Reid; niece, Aliceanne; nephew, John Farris; cousins, Jimmy, Ernie, Timmy, Lilly, Eileen, Billy and many more. Great Sity to furbabies, Sadie and Scarlett. She was predeceased by her parents, Frank and Alice (nee Mamye) Reid; and her siblings, Sadie Reid, Selima (Ayoub) Kassouff, Johnny Reid, Georgie (Margaret) Reid, Clarence "Soggy" (Eleanor) Reid, Freda Mamye; and her special nephew, Frankie Reid. Resting at the Hennessey Cutcliffe Charlottetown Funeral Home for visitation at the funeral home on Wednesday, June 26, 2024 from 4-7 p.m. The Funeral Service will be held on Thursday at St. Peter's Cathedral at 11 a.m. Interment to follow in the parish cemetery.
