Nicholson, Leanne It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Leanne Nicholson, 69 years old, at her home in Charlottetown, PE, on June 6, 2024. Leanne was born in Charlottetown, PE, on May 30, 1955. Her late parents were Earl and Marie Nicholson. Left to mourn her are her brother, Bruce Nicholson (wife Elia and niece/nephew Maddison and Carson); sister, Lisa Stephens (niece/ nephew Samantha and Nick); aunts, Janet Farrar (Jim), Carol Curran (Walter), Shirley Mac Neil; and uncle, John (Jackie) Nicholson; cousins, ex-husband, Doug Havenga; and her cherished cat, Hamish. Leanne was predeceased by her boyfriend, Ken Walsh who passed in October 23 and she missed greatly. Leanne enjoyed spending time with family and friends, adored animals, especially Siamese cats, and loved music. She was a devoted aunt to her four nieces and nephews, and was a true islander who had a great appreciation for the beauty of Prince Edward Island. She will be deeply missed. Resting at Hennessey Cutcliffe Charlottetown Funeral Home, but no visitation by family request. A funeral mass will be held at St. Joachim's church, Vernon River at 11 a.m., Tuesday July 2, 2024.
