Gauthier, Mary "Ruth" The death occurred peacefully at the Provincial Palliative Care Centre, Charlottetown, on Thursday, June 13, 2024, of Ruth Gauthier (nee McKenna), beloved wife of Ronald Gauthier, of Cornwall, age 85. She was the daughter of the late Justin and Tina McKenna. Ruth was the loving mother of Wallace Gauthier (Tina), Zandra Arsenault (Ernie), Kevin Gauthier and Michael Gauthier. She is also survived by her brother, Milton McKenna (Della). Besides her parents, Ruth was predeceased by her brothers, Clarence McKenna, Glen McKenna, Buddy McKenna and an infant brother. Resting at Central Queen's Funeral Home, New Glasgow, for visitation on Monday, June 17th, 2024, from 5-7 p.m. The CWL will hold a prayer service prior to the visitation. The funeral will be held at St. Francis of Assisi Roman Catholic Church, Cornwall, on Tuesday, June 18, 2024, at 10:30 a.m. If so desired, memorial donations made to the Provincial Palliative Care Centre would be appreciated.
