Vail, Catherine Ann The death occurred at her late residence on Sunday, July 7, 2024 of Catherine Ann Vail (nee Hayter) of Charlottetown, age 84 years. Loving wife of George; mother of Robert, Allan (Karen), Cindy (Jim) Nangreaves, Wayne (Denise) and fur baby, Casey. Fondly remembered by daughter-in-law, Jane Ryan. Grammy of Kathryn (T.J.), Robbie (Lilla), Christopher (Melissa), James (Justine), Emily (Clayton), Jayson, and Regan (Ty); great-grammy of Harper, Hayley, August, Calvin, Riley, Sophie and Charlotte. Survived by siblings, Audrey (Doug) Lea, Blair (Connie) Hayter and Linda (Billy) Lee; sisters-in-law, Maureen Hayter, Isobel Vail and Alma (David) Farquharson; brother-in-law, Paul (Sheila) Vail; nieces and nephews and family friend, Toni. Predeceased by her parents, Malcolm and Clara (French) Hayter; parents-in-law, Brooklyn and Ella Euphemia Vail; brother, Jack; sister, Faye (Elmer) Gallant; brothers-in-law, Ernest and Delmar (Evelyn) Vail; and sisters-in-law, Doris (Wally) Reid and Florence (Roland) Fournier. Resting at MacLean Funeral Home Swan Chapel from where the service will be held on Friday at 10 a.m. Interment in Peoples Cemetery.
