Pringle, Elizabeth Jean "Joyce" The death occurred at the Prince County Hospital, Summerside, on Wednesday, June 26, 2024, with her loving family by her side, of Elizabeth Jean "Joyce" Pringle, formerly of Fortune Cove and Alberton, age 91 years. Beloved wife of the late Cyril E. Pringle, who predeceased her in 2004. Born at Belfast, Northern Island, on December 1, 1932, she was the daughter of the late Charles and Elizabeth Jean (nee McBurney) Maxwell. Loving mother to Heather Pringle (John Toner) of Summerside, and Michael Pringle (Lida Kantor) of Rockwood, ON. Cherished grandmother to Liam (Jenny) Pringle, and Will (Erin) Pringle of Rockwood, ON. Joyce will be sadly missed by all who knew her. She was predeceased by sisters, Isabel Crawford, Alva Morrow, and Marjorie Patience. Resting at the Rooney Funeral Home and Chapel, Alberton, for visitation on Saturday, August 24, 2024 from 2-2:45 p.m., then to Christ Church, Kildare Capes, for funeral service at 3 p.m., Rev. Ned Henthorn and Jan Cox officiating. Interment to follow in the church cemetery.
