Robertson, Janice Faye The death occurred peacefully after a brief hospital stay at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital on Friday, July 5, 2024, surrounded by family and loved by those present and those unable to be there, of Janice Faye Robertson of Charlottetown. Janice was born November 15, 1952, and leaves to mourn her sons, Jason (Stephanie) Ford, Alberta, and Earl (Melisa) Ford; her precious granddaughters, Amelia and Abrianna, British Columbia; sisters, Gail (Neil) MacEwen and Earla (Kevin) Jay; sister-in-law, Lorna Robertson; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins. Janice will be missed by her longtime friends and supporters, Celia, Sylvia, and Kevin. Predeceased by her husband, James Ford; parents, Earl and Ruth Robertson; brother, Bruce; and infant sister, Carol. Janice was the master of wit and was always ready with a quick and humorous response, even in her final hours. She was an avid crocheter and many enjoyed the fruits of her labours. Many thanks to the staff of Emergency and ICU of the QEH for their wonderful care and support. It was her desire not to have a visitation or funeral service and we have honoured her wishes.
