Rose, Lorne Charles It is with sadness, the family of Lorne Charles Rose announce his passing which occurred peacefully with family by his side at the Souris Hospital on Friday, July 19, 2024. Born on November 10, 1925, in North Lake, he was in his 99th year. Lorne farmed in Bothwell, PE, and formerly in Mount Stewart, PE. He is predeceased by his beloved wife, Pearle (nee Stewart). Lorne will be remembered as a caring a loving father to Allison and his wife Barbara. Lorne was a dear grampie to Larissa (Stephen Weatherby), Kristen and Logan. He will be missed by nieces, Donna (Wensell MacLeod), Corinne, and Jackie (late Ross Smith). Predeceased by his parents, Frank and Sadie (nee Bryenton); his sisters, Lois (Alec Roy), and Ora (Albert Morrison); and nieces, Dale Palmer and Judy DesRoches. Resting at Dingwell Funeral Home in Souris where visiting hours will take place on Wednesday, July 24, 2024, from 5-8 p.m. A funeral service will be held at the Kingsboro Baptist Church on Thursday, July 25, 2024, at 2:30 p.m. Interment will follow in the Kingsboro Cemetery.
