Rockwell, Alexander St. Clair "Alex" Pastor "Alex" Rockwell went home to be with the Lord at the Provincial Palliative Care Centre, Charlottetown, on Thursday, August 8, 2024, at the age of 89. Alex was the beloved husband of Joyce Rockwell (nee Williams); cherished father of Jeffrey (Beth), Stephen (Demi), Alan, and Trevor (May); grandfather of Adam, Ben, Kate, and Devin; and great-grandfather of James, Brady, and twins Colton and Charlotte. He is also survived by his brother, Jim; sister-in-law, Barb; brother-in-law, Gordon; and numerous nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his parents, Walter and Vera (Vail) Rockwell; and his siblings, Robie (Helen), Murray (Sylvia), Clyde (Opal), Evelyn, Walter "Bud" (Betty), Barb (Fred) and George. Resting at Central Queen's Funeral Home, New Glasgow. Private interment will be held in Floral Hills Memorial Gardens, Pleasant Valley. A public memorial service will be held on Saturday, August 17, 2024 at the Charlottetown Bible Chapel at 2 p.m. The family would like to thank the Provincial Palliative Care Centre, P.E.I. Home Care and Dr. Chaudhary, Dr. Costa, Dr. O'Connor and Dr. Stott for their care for Alex during his illness.
