Bernard, Andrew Joseph The death occurred peacefully at the Palliative Care Unit of Community Hospital O'Leary, surrounded by family, after a long and courageous eight year battle, of Andrew Joseph Bernard, of Tignish, aged 65 years. Andrew was the son of the late Melvin and Theresa Bernard of Pleasant View. Lovingly remembered by his wife, Donna (Doucette) Bernard; along with sons, Coulton (Jasmin), Chris, and Craig (Krista); and grandchildren, Molly and Max. Also by his faithful companion, Bear. Always remembered by his brothers and sisters, Charles (Marie), Elaine (Paul), Marlene (Gerald), Frances (Kevin), Sandra (Chad), Donnie,and Jason (Wendy). Also by numerous nieces and nephews and cousins and a large extended family. Predeceased by his parents, Melvin and Theresa Bernard; and a brother, Ronnie. Also by his in-laws, Auldine (Bernard) and Gerard Doucette. Resting at the West Prince Funeral Home, 522 Palmer Road. Visitation will be Wednesday August 28th from 7-9 p.m. Funeral Service will take place on Thursday August 29th at 4 p.m. at Immaculate Conception Church, Palmer Road. with Fr.
