MacInnis, Cecelia Anne Peacefully at the Colville Manor in Souris on Saturday, August 24, 2024, Cecelia Anne MacInnis (nee Mackinnon), passed away with her loving family by her side. Born to the late Charles and Margaret MacKinnon on November 10, 1932, she was aged 91 years of St. Peters Bay, PE. She is predeceased by her husband Claude; her two sons, Brian and Arthur; and her siblings, Joseph, Patrick, Kenneth (Helen), Mary, Edna (Vincent) Tobin, Sara, Louis, Harold (Mary), Daniel Faustenus (DF), and Victor. She will be remembered as a loving and supportive mother to Ronnie MacInnis, Daniel (Etta) MacInnis, Louis MacInnis, Edna (Harold) Miller, and Edith (Lefty) Dunn. Cecelia was a gentle and caring grandmother to Catherine (Patrick), Stephen, Ben, Emily, Matthew, Bethany (Matt), Hannah, Brian and Sara; and six loving great-grandchildren. The family wish to acknowledge the wonderful care given to their mother during her time at the Perrins' Villa Montague and Souris Hospital. Celia spent her last two years at Colville Manor Souris receiving exemplary care. Staff often went the extra mile in a kind and compassionate manner of which the family is very grateful. A visitation will take place at the Dr. Roddie Community Centre in St. Peters Bay on Wednesday, August 28, 2024, from 5-8 p.m. A funeral mass will be held at the St. Peter's Bay Roman Catholic Church on Thursday, August 29, 2024, at 11 a.m. with interment to follow in the church cemetery. If so desired, donations in memory of Cecelia can be made to St. Peter's Bay Roman Catholic Church Cemetery or the Eastern Kings Health Foundation (Colville Manor).
