Hughes, Charles Edward Peacefully at Andrew's of Stratford on Thursday, August 1, 2024 of Charles Edward Hughes of Fort Augustus age 82 years. Beloved husband of the late Audrey Hughes. Dear father of Clayton Hughes, Jamie Hughes (Sandra), Helena Baird (Jackie dec.), Sheila Ann Gallant (Stevie), Douglas Hughes (Maria), and Heather Palmer (Gary). Charles will also be missed by many grandchildren, great grandchildren , nieces and nephews. He was the last surviving member of his family being predeceased by his parents James and Mary (Ostridge) Hughes ,siblings Gerald Hughes, Elmer Hughes (Della), Helen Kilbride (Gus), Hazel Feehan (Jim), Agnes Mitchell (Clarence), Charlotte Dalton (Chester), and Harry Hughes (Margaret). Resting at the Hennessey Cutcliffe Charlottetown Funeral Home from where a private visitation will be held. Funeral mass will be celebrated on Monday, August 5th from St. Patrick's Church, Ft.
