Trainor RN (Vautour), Imelda "Mel" 1924 - 2024 Our beautiful mother, Mel Trainor died peacefully at home on August 15, 2024. She was 99 years young. Mel is survived by her daughter, Ellen (Norm) and son, Jim (Shannon); grandchildren, Hugh (Ashley), Angie (Jamie), JJ, Peter(Laurence), Mariel (Mike); and four delightful grandchildren, Austin, Carter, Heath and Toni. Also left to mourn is Mel's stepsister, Jeanine and numerous nieces and nephews. Mel was predeceased by her husband, HC "Charlie" Trainor and their son, "Choo" Trainor. Resting at Hennessy's Funeral Home, visitation is Monday, August 19th from 4-7 p.m. Mass at St. Dunstan's Basilica on Tuesday, August 20 at 10 a.m. Reception to follow at The Haviland Club, 2 Haviland Street.
