Murphy (Wallace), Mary "Mudge" Of Dunedin, FL, graced family and friends with her unending love and spunk for 94 years, departing us on August 9, 2022. Born in Alberton, PE, Canada to John William Wallace and Winifred A'hearn, Mary was gifted the Gaelic nickname "Mudge" by her father, a name she lived up to as free rolling spirit. Mary was a dedicated mother to her two daughters, Pamela Behrens and Whitney Rauh and is survived by both of them. She attended Union Commercial College in Charlottetown, PE, where she acquired her keen skills at bookkeeping and business and rose to the position of Chief Statistician at TV Guide on 42nd Street in New York City. She worked throughout her lifetime in various capacities of bookkeeping and in later years as a real estate agent. She will be remembered for her great sense of humor, her authenticity, her unfaltering positivity for life, her tradition of buttering noses on birthdays, and for loving a good game of cards. Mary lived with her daughter, Whitney, for the last nine years, enjoying her final years watching the Gulf birds and sunsets on the St. Joseph Sound, frequently exclaiming, "I am a lucky lady. It doesn't get any better than this." Mary passed at home with Whitney at her side and was interred with her parents in the Sacred Hearts cemetery in Alberton. Good to the Last Drop
