Vernon Wilfred FRIZZELL — Charlottetown, Prince Edward Island

Frizzell, Vernon Wilfred Card of Thanks The family of the late Vernon Frizzell (1943 – 2024), wish to extend our heartfelt appreciation to all the family, friends and neighbours for their many acts of kindness during Vernon's courageous struggle with corticobasal degeneration (CBD). CBD is a cruel disease that many of us have never heard of and it has no treatment or cure. Vernon stayed home with the wonderful care from "Home Care" until we could no longer support him at home. He moved into Sunset, within Beach Grove Home, November 9, 2022. Beach Grove staff provided him with wonderful care and while there, he always had a smile on his face and a twinkle in his eye. A special "Thank You" to all the staff of "Home Care" and "Sunset" for their excellent care and friendship. Thank you to all that visited Vernon while he was at "Sunset". Our gratitude is offered to all that called, messaged, sent cards, delivered food and made generous donations to Kidsport or Spring Park United Church in Vernon's memory. Special thanks to Reverend Bill MacLeod for his kind words at the funeral and at the grave. Thank you to Joanne Malone for the lovely eulogy at the funeral service. We would also like to thank Vernon's brother Warren Frizzell, for his words of remembrance, granddaughter, Victoria Zakem for reading, and brother- in- law Roger Kitson, the urn bearer. We extend our sincere appreciation to MacLean Funeral Home for their care and kindness during this difficult time. Words seem inadequate for the outpouring of love and support we have received. A heartfelt thank you to everyone! The Frizzell family: Glenda, Lorelei and Paul Zakem (Nathan and Victoria), Jennifer and Brad Edgerly (Max and Eva), and David and Christina Frizzell (Mikaela and Naomi).
