Burke, Michael "Mike" Born in Birmingham, England on June 29, 1943 to Joseph Burke (PEI) and Jessie (Williamson) Burke (Scotland). He lived the first few years of his life in Brechin, Scotland before landing at Pier 21 in Halifax at the age of four and growing up in Parkdale/West Royalty, PEI. He was the oldest sibling to; Kathleen (Gerard), Wilf (Phyl), Dave (Virginia) Linda, Wendy (Jimmy) and Anne (Rick). Mike and his wife Sharon (nee Chandler) raised four wonderful children; Andrea (Tim), Tasha, Becky (Darren) and Michael. He treasured his grandchildren; Shayne, Jessie (Aaron), Joseph (Huma), Michaella (Brennan), Cameron (Meghan), Torey, and was excited by the news of a great grandchild expected in November 2024. Mike loved fishing, golfing and retired to Barrie, Ontario, where he enjoyed walking several kilometers a day. As per Mike's wishes a cremation has taken place and there will be no service held.
