Wood, Alban Gerard It is with heavy hearts, the family of Alban Gerard Wood announces his passing on Monday, October 14, 2024 at the Provincial Palliative Care Center. He is survived by his daughter, Cayla Wood and grandson Dominique; son, Andrew Saulnier; siblings, Berni Wood, Gene Wood (Marlene), Carla Wood-Whitty (Vernon), Karen MacLaren (Johnny) and Steve Wood (Richelle); numerous nieces and nephews. Gerard was the son, of the late, Alban and Edwina (MacDonald) Wood. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his siblings, Gerry Wood and Elaine Thomson. A special thank you goes out to all who cared for Gerard, at Victoria General Hospital in Halifax, Queen Elizabeth Hospital, Island EMS, Integrated and Provincial Palliative Care in Charlottetown. Resting at the Hennessey Cutcliffe Funeral Home in Charlottetown for a private family visitation. Interment in the Columbarium at the Roman Catholic Cemetery Charlottetown.
