Ferguson, Dorothy Lorna With great sadness, we regret to announce the peaceful passing of Dorothy Lorna Ferguson (nee Burke), at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital, Charlottetown, on Wednesday, October 2, 2024, of Darlington, aged 79 years. Dorothy was the daughter of the late Willard and Honner Burke. She was the beloved wife of Stanley Ferguson; and loving mother of Douglas (Tonya), Philip (Marlene), and Sheila (Cory Watts). Dorothy was also the loving Grammie of Matt (Taylor) Ferguson, Janessa Ferguson (Chad Boudreau), Taylor and Drew Watts, and Thomas Ferguson; and loving Great Grammie of Asher, Sloan, and Sylvie Ferguson. Dorothy is also lovingly remembered by her siblings, Fred Burke, Pat MacEachern, Sal (Lowell) Balderston and Wilma Burke; and sister-in-law, Shirley Farrar. Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her sister-in-law, Bonnie Burke; and brothers-in-law, Wayne MacEachern, Ken Ferguson, Henry Ferguson, Vernon Ferguson, and James Farrar. Resting at the Central Queen's Funeral Home, where a private service will be held. No visitation by personal request. Interment in Hartsville Presbyterian Cemetery.
