Montgomery, Francis Vincent Peacefully at the Kings County Memorial Hospital in Montague, on Tuesday, October 1, 2024, Francis Montgomery passed away with his loving family by his side. Born on June 11, 1943, he was 81 years of age. He leaves behind his beloved wife, Christine (nee Stead), and will be forever loved by his daughter, Cherie (Joe Dixon) and son, Richard (Jen McWilliams). Francis will remain in the hearts of his three adored grandchildren, Megan White (Johnny), Emily and Connor and missed by his best fur buddy, Dudley. Also, to mourn his loss is his brother, Wayne (Ann) and brother-in-law, Harrison Stead. Predeceased by his dear son, Robert; mother, Sarah Gallant (Tommy); parents-in-law, John and Eliza Stead; sister, Mary Arseneau (Al) and special uncle, Vincent. Resting at Dingwell Funeral Home where visiting hours will take place on Saturday, October 5, 2024, from 11-1 p.m. A funeral mass will be held immediately following the visitation at 2 p.m. in the St. Margaret's Roman Catholic Church, St. Margarets, with interment to follow in the church cemetery.
