Jewell, Irene Gertrude The death occurred peacefully at Whisperwood Villa on Monday, October 7, 2024, of Irene Jewell of York, age 97 years. Wife of the late Parker Jewell. Irene is survived by her children, Eleanor (Fred) Anderson, Irwin (Cheryl), Edwin (Dawn), Dale (Sheila); daughter-in-law, Barb Jewell; and grandchildren, Aaron, Katie, Scott, Dustin, Randy, Emily, Jordan, Alana, Andrew, Amy-Mae; and 11 great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her parents, Robert and Katie Chappell; brother, Clifford; and a brother and sister in infancy. Resting at MacLean Funeral Home Swan Chapel.
