MacLeod, J. Pauline It is with heavy hearts the family of J. Pauline MacLeod (nee MacIntyre), wife of the late Sterling R. MacLeod, announces her sudden passing which occurred on Friday, October 4, 2024. Born in Harrington, PE, on February 18, 1937, she was the daughter of the late Percy and Lucy (Docherty) MacIntyre. In addition to her husband and parents, she was predeceased by her brother, Jack. She is survived by her loving children, John (Lorna), Kent (Tammy) and Paul (Cathie); cherished grandchildren, Emilee, Laura, and Matthew; and great-granddaughter, Phoebe; sisters-in-law, Mary MacIntyre, Bessie MacLeod, Eileen Quiring (Isaac) and Roma MacLeod; brother-in-law, Ivan MacLeod; special cousins, Betty Carr and Carl Docherty; dear friend and neighbour, Evelyn Paynter; and many nieces and nephews. Pauline was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, aunt and friend. She was an avid Bingo player, she loved to sit by a stream and fish and listen to classic country music, but most of all her greatest joy was her family. Resting at Belvedere Funeral Home, with visitation on Monday, October 7, from 4-7 p.m. Her funeral service will be held from Belvedere Funeral Home Chapel on Tuesday, October 8 at 11 a.m. Interment will take place in Cornwall United Cemetery.
