Lewis (Roberts), Lucy Irene Adele Of Kensington and formerly of New London, aged 75 years. Born Summerside, PE, November 5, 1948. Second child of Nelson and Fannie (Carr) Roberts passed away peacefully on her own terms after a lengthy battle with cancer in the loving arms of her daughter Jaime Lynn Brassard and her sister and caregiver Marion MacKinnon on October 18, 2024. Beloved wife of Brian Lewis deceased. Mother to children Angela Dawn and Terri Lynn Montgomery both died as infants and Jaime Lynn (Chad) Brassard, Whitehorse. Loving grandmother to Foster and Lily Brassard. Survived by her siblings Eric Roberts, Marion (Richard) MacKinnon and Baby Roberts deceased at birth and Aunt to their children Julie Ann Roberts, Krystal Lola Wall, Jason (Shawna) Roberts, Monique (Kyle Hudson) MacKinnon, Erica (Craig) Panter and Stephanie (Jake) Sellar. Paula Roberts Numerous nieces and nephews. Adele is the niece of Betty (Eric-deceased) Carr and Dianne (George-deceased) Roberts. Adele was the daughter in-law of Keith & Marjorie Lewis (deceased). Brothers and sister-in-law, Marlene Wood (Douglas MacLean), Leonard Wood (Deceased), Warren (Kim Sheraton) Lewis. Nephews, Keith and Brett (Jennifer Dunn) Wood. She was a hairdresser most of her life and lived in different areas within PEI going where her husband was transferred. In later years she worked at Canadian Tire Summerside and later became a Nanny to her beloved children Alex and Katelyn and great friends to Linda & Kevin MacDonald whom she loved as her own. Adele was a kind and loving person and family meant everything to her. She loved to travel and did so with Brian, she loved to meet and talk to people. There weren't too many people she didn't know. She was very much a people person and loved life. Since Brian's passing she spent afternoons at Tim's with best friends Ethel Blanchard, Dianne Gallant and Marlene Ellis their companionship, laughs and love meant the world to her. Adele will be greatly missed by her sister Marion who was her special friend and confidant and brother in law Richard her constant taxi driver. Special nieces Krystal, Monique & Stephanie who she thought of as her own and loved them as such. Adele and Brian had many animals but her favorite love was her kitty Boo which gave her so much comfort and love. Adele always attended a United Church and was a Stewart and sang in the choir of Lot 16 United Church and now a member of Kensington United Church. She was a member of UCW and Women's Institute. Past President of PEI Hairdresser Assoc and also a Life member. Resting at the Davison Funeral Home where the celebration of life will take place in the Chapel on Thursday Oct 24 at 10:30 a.m. and will be available to view online. Interment in Floral Hills Memorial Gardens to follow for Brian and Adele Lewis. Reception at Murray Christian Centre attached to Kensington United Church around 12 p.m. to meet the family.
