Newell, Sarah Pauline The death occurred peacefully, with family by her side, at the Kings County Memorial Hospital on September 29, 2024 of Sarah Pauline Newell of Montague. Aged 75. Lovingly remembered by daughter, Norma (Allen) Fay; grandchildren, Dylan Fay (Amber James) Morgan (Kailey) Fay and Rylen Peters. Survived by sister, Bernice Sheehan; sister-in-law, Florence MacDonald; son-in-law, Jason Peters; and many devoted nieces, nephews and close friends, whom she cherished. Predeceased by daughter, Natalie (Newell) Peters; parents, Duncan and Regina (MacMaster) MacDonald; brothers, Joseph, Michael, Charles (in infancy) and Andrew (in infancy); sisters, Mary (Alphonse) Flynn, Nora (Elwood) MacDonald, Annie Allen, Clemmie (Charles) Somers, Rita (Roddie) MacPhee, Georgina (Alex) MacDonald; brother-in-law, James Sheehan; and beloved fur baby, Abbie, who passed recently. Sarah was blessed to have many angels in her life, they came in the form of neighbours, friends and visitors. Resting at the Southern Kings & Queens Funeral Home, Murray River, with visitation on Sunday, October 6 from 3-6 p.m. Funeral service to be held at St. Mary's Parish, Montague on Monday, October 7 at 11 a.m. Interment to follow at St. Mary's Cemetery, Montague.
