Peters, Eric James The death occurred peacefully surrounded by family at Queen Elizabeth Hospital, Charlottetown, on Saturday, November 2, 2024, of Eric Peters beloved husband of Maureen Griffin of Cornwall age 75. He was the son of the late Alban and Estelle (Doiron). Eric was the beloved father of Dwayne, Craig, Darryl, Kelvin (Amanda); loving stepfather of Daniel (Karen), Amanda (Matthew), Michael, Matthew (Ashley); and cherished grandfather of Keegan, Hailey, Gracen, Cameron, Jacob, Lily, Liam, Harmony, Jaden and Joshua. He is survived by brothers and sisters: Leo (Sheila) (both dec.), Bernice (David), Anne (Wilfred, dec.), Leonard (Jane), Inez (Ron dec.), infant brother dec., Marina (Fred dec.), Joan (Rene), Frances (Eric dec.), Sandra (Wayne); stepbrothers and stepsisters: Eric dec. (Lorraine), Edgar (Cecilia), Michele (Greg), Claude "Joe", Claudette (Stephen) and Denise; and brothers and sisters-in-law: Earl (Lorraine), Wayne, Everett (Sheila), Paul (Colleen), Alban (Marilyn), Sharon (Donnie dec.) Eric is also survived by the mother of his children, Donna; and forever remembered by daughters-in-law, Jill, Natalie; and numerous nieces and nephews. Resting at Central Queen's Funeral Home, New Glasgow, with visitation on Tuesday, November 5, 2024, from 4-7 p.m. The Knights of Columbus will hold a prayer service prior to the visitation at 3:30 p.m. Funeral will be held at St. Francis of Assisi Roman Catholic, Cornwall, on Wednesday November 6, 2024, at 10:30 a.m. Interment will take place in St. Anne's Cemetery, Emyvale.
