Matheson, George Daniel With great sadness the family announces the passing of George Daniel Matheson of Hopefield, age 56, loving husband of 25 years to Lori (McCabe) Matheson, occurred on Monday, November 11, 2024 with his loving family by his side. Born in Charlottetown, September 24, 1968 son of the late Lloyd and Ruth (Singleton) Matheson. Survived by children, Taylor Clarke (Keith), Olivia Matheson, Abby Matheson, Noah McCabe (Tashany); Fur baby Bailey; mother-in-law, Miriam McCabe; sisters, Lorna Singleton, Ann Ferguson (Scott), Cindy King, Edith Matheson (Barrie Dixon), Lynn Matheson; brother-in-law, Jerry (Anita); sisters-in-law, Maureen (Randy), Anne (Mike), Claire; cherished grandchildren, Colton Clarke, Stella Clarke, Ellie McCabe, Adya McCabe, Ashlynn Coles; Aunt, Beth Darrach; cousins, nieces and nephews. Predeceased by infant daughter, Hillary Dawn; and father-in-law, Joe McCabe. Resting at Ferguson Logan Montague Funeral Home with the Funeral Service to be held in the Funeral Home Chapel of Thursday, November 14, 2024 at 11 a.m. Interment to take place in Belle River Cemetery.
