Pineau, Noreen "Nuddy" Catherine It is with heavy hearts we announce the peaceful passing of Noreen Pineau (née Gallant) of North Rustico, PEI, on November 19, 2024, surrounded by her loving family. Noreen "Nuddie" was the beloved wife of the late Donald "Donnie" Pineau and will be remembered with lots of love by her children John (Jody), Anna (Bobby), and Dottie (Selwyn). She was a cherished Nana to Tyler (Stephanie) and Carter (Laura) and a special Nanoo to Grady. Nuddie was a loving guardian to three of her younger siblings: Darlene Quan, Brian Gallant (Donna), and Eric Gallant (Gwen). She is also survived by her siblings Shirley Gallant, Carolyn LeClair, Herbie Gallant (Marlene), and Lanie Kish; as well as her sister-in-law, Dixie Doiron. Nuddie was predeceased by her husband; parents, Rosette (Doucette) and Jack (LaChille) Gallant; her siblings and in-laws, George (Inga), Bernice (Aubie Gauthier), Doris, Tillie (Duddie Doucette), Ivan (Theresa), Alma, Michael, Bertha (Alfred Arsenault), and Rosie (Boy Pineau); as well as her brothers-in-law, Mike LeClair, Ed Gallant, and Jim Kish. Nuddie had a love for singing and music, and she had a great sense of humor that everyone loved about her. She will be sorely missed by her family, nieces, nephews, and special friends. Resting at Central Queen's Funeral Home, New Glasgow, for visitation on Friday, November 22, 2024 from 5 to 7 p.m. Funeral Mass at Stella Maris Roman Catholic Church on Saturday, November 23, 2024 at 10:30 a.m. Interment in Stella Maris Cemetery.
